  3. Oct 04,  · I, too, had pre-ordered Lucy's album as I was very impressed with her on the X Factor. I was disappointed that it had taken the powers that be so long to finally publish Lucy's CD, but the wait was completely worthwhile. This is the best album I have bought all year and it is amazing that Lucy has written all songs featured on her album/5(). Reply
  4. Lucy was the first contestant on the X Factor to perform her own compositions. Join The Club features tear-jerker "Tea and Toast" which previously made X Factor audiences weep, as well as her debut single "Lighthouse". The album was largely written while Lucy couch surfed across the US and "In A State" is a country inflected dedication to falling in love whilst on her travels/5(). Reply

  8. Lucy Spraggan reminds me of a female Ed Sheeran, her voice is pure and she doesn't need tricks to make her album good. Her album is very diverse. There's sentimental songs like 'Tea and Toast' then there are fun happy songs like 'Last Night' and there's even a bit of rap in there/5(). Reply
