  1. I was 18 back then and was introduced to Vangelis by a very good friend, who already got a CD player at that time. I borrowed my father's portable CD player to record the tape. It took one more year, dec , to buy my first album of Vangelis, which was in fact that Albedo , followed by China ten days later. Reply

  5. Mythodea is subtitled "Music for the NASA Mission: Mars Odyssey," and it's certainly an epic work. If its aspirations were any higher, it wouldn't even need NASA to break earth's gravity. In essence, it's the focus of Vangelis' symphonic ambitions, utilizing not only an orchestra, but two sopranos and a full choir to go alongside his banks of keyboards. Reply

  7. Track 9 “Dream in an Open Place” is the third instrumental piece on the album. It’s a nice, easy piece, featuring alternate synth and wind-like instrumental leads. It could easily have fit on one of Vangelis’ soundtrack. Altogether, “Voices” has full sound quality, almost symphonic in places/5(). Reply
