  3. Aug 04,  · Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow is a great album from a great group. They were an underrated band for sure, but Dio’s career blew up to the highest level and Blackmore is considered one of the best rock guitarists of his time. There’s a lot of talent here that bloomed in to a solid band that is Rainbow. Track List: Man On The Silver. Reply

  6. The brainchild of former Deep Purple guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, Rainbow quickly developed into one of the '70s most successful heavy metal bands behind charismatic frontman Ronnie James Dio. Together, the duo would produce a string of acclaimed albums which are still considered classics of the genre. Reply
  7. Aug 06,  · Singer: Ronnie James Dio. The debut Rainbow album certainly was an eclectic offering. “Man On The Silver Mountain” served up the kind of gritty riffing that was signature Blackmore, while by contrast, “The Temple of the King” delivered a graceful ballad (not a love song, thank you) and “Catch The Rainbow” took us on a more tranquil, Pink Floyd-ish journey. 8. Man On The Silver Mountain: Forty Miles Of Bad Road: Tequila: Medley: Keyboard Solo: Stargazer: so why shouldn't Rainbow. I'll need to compare it to the bonus on the deluxe onstage to see if some of it has been released before - I've now compared and while the Onstage deluxe bonus says its from Osaka on 9th 3/5(1).
